Stone Sculpture

The material I use for my stone sculpture ranges from soft soapstone to marble. I sometimes use granite for inlays but rarely carve it due to it's extreme hardness. Soapstone pieces are usually coated with lacquer in the polished areas to protect the material. Other stones are generally not coated, just polished.
